PTM Consultants were proud to lead the transport design for the creation of Karina Williams Way, a new road in the heart of Manukau that unlocks safer connections, supports regeneration, and builds a stronger sense of place.
Working closely with Auckland Transport and key partners, the project brought together a multidisciplinary team: PTM as lead designers, Envivo providing civil engineering support, and Jasmax shaping the landscape design. Together, we delivered a new street that is more than just a corridor – it is an important link that serves people, place, and community.
The design prioritises safety, accessibility, and legibility, ensuring the street feels intuitive for all users – whether walking, cycling, driving, or moving through public spaces. By integrating landscape elements, public realm enhancements, and strong transport design, Karina Williams Way demonstrates how infrastructure can support both mobility and identity.
For PTM, this project is a reflection of our commitment to safe, sustainable, and people- centred transport solutions, delivered in collaboration with expert partners who share the same vision for Manukau's future.
