PTM are privileged to be supporters of the One Heart Foundation.

Between Kenya and Uganda, One Heart currently provides holistic care for over 160 orphaned and abandoned children...but this is just the beginning.

One Heart's primary activity is to provide strategic sustainable solutions to help end generational poverty and to raise funds to start initiatives that build self-sufficiency in regional areas.

In November 2017, Amit went on a trip to Kolkata, India. The trip mainly involved working with Vision Rescue and a local Church group serving in the poorest slums of Kolkata. It was a reminder of how blessed we are in New Zealand and how much need there is around the world.

The trip enabled PTM to set up a football training camp for children of all ages in the slums. PTM supplied balls, nets, goals, and uniforms for 50 children, and that’s only the beginning.

Christmas Box was born out of a desire to see families who are struggling at Christmas time be given the opportunity to enjoy and share this special time of year with family and friends. In 2001, the 'Christmas Hamper project' started in a small room with 20 volunteers who collected donated groceries, packed them into banana boxes, individually wrapped the boxes in Christmas paper, and delivered the boxes to families in the local community.

Christmas Box has expanded every year since, and is now a major project that has gained credibility with government agencies, community organisations, and major sponsors. The heart of Christmas Box has remained the same throughout the years to literally deliver 'Christmas in a Box' to families in need at Christmas time.
